Singing bowls are normally made with copper, tin , zinc iron, silver, gold, and nickel. It's used by striking or rubbing circular motion against rim of the bowl with wooded or leather wrapped mallet, which then vibrates and produces a rich sound. You can slow the motion and feel the vibration and tune in to the sound of it. You can use it by holding on your palm, keep the bowl still and use your full arm. Another way to use it is place on the cushion and stike/rub circular against it's rim. Be creative with it, add water, flowers, herbs etc, to your bowl and use during meditation, yoga, rituals or simply to clear negative energies around you or the surrounding.
